So, I´ve had some memory problems lately. I have at least forgotten the way to electronic shop nearby(did come back to my mind after short thinking though), when the second class in school starts, also once forgot the color of my iPod etc.
And I also couldn´t remember the faces of people I just met a year ago and I´m good friends with and they´re names came to back to my mind after my mom told them. Doing math problems also feels harder and I need more time to think while doing them.

So, what is happening? I wasn´t like this a year ago. I huffed gasoline few times a year ago, could it do this? It could be caused by stress too...

Idk about the gasoline, but stress could play a part I would expect.
What about sleep, have you been sleeping well recently? That could also affect your memory.

If the huffing shit happend a year ago, it shoudln't be effecting you now.

however, rachel has a point about the not sleeping. that usually takes a toll on memoires same with not eating

Stress does affect your memory performance as does the amount and quality of sleep that you get. If you're very stressed and get poor sleep, then your memory performance tends to be poorer.

With memory, the general view is compared to a computer. You need to get the information into your head properly. This involves paying enough attention and such (although your unconscious does record information without your knowledge). The next step is encoding, that is ensuring it is being engrained in your brain properly. The last step is retrieval, which is recollecting your memories and having them put together coherently. The longer the memories are in your brain, then they will degrade naturally. You can try to recollect them more often and try to pay more attention when you receive and encode them. In order to do this though, ideally you need minimal stress and good quality and quantity of sleep.

You also have memory clues, such as when your mother began listing your friends' names. You probably recognize the people you met by their name if you saw them in person or vice-verca. Different people tend to have different strengths in this, although doing memory games can improve them. If you want to increase your eidetic memory (assuming you don't naturally have a superior one), you should play some eidetic memory games. You can find these online, do them in real-life or do them from a book.

I think I´ve been sleeping well enough. I´m not tired at the day or anything.
