This poem is alot different from my other ones,
And I wrote it really fast, so give me a break :P
(This poem does have a deep meaning to me.. read carefully
and hopefully you'll understand the image it gives.)
Sunset to the sunrise
The blacked skies catch fire
in my tearfilled eyes
I watched out my window
as the oceans rise up
and the tides begin to flow
the steam filled my throat
as the horizon disappeared
my tears became the moat
I'm a prisoner in here
in the highest tower
and I just watch in fear
The world is burning apart
all the while trying
to save the last broken heart
my tear-moat makes a wall
and keeps the fire at bay
But it can't fight at all
Until a line of silver hue
catches the corner of my eye
Can it really be you?
Avoiding the licks of flame
you walk among the ashes
Your eyes arn't the same
You look at the wall
then up into my eyes
Everything begins to fall
My wall turns to air
and my tower starts to crumble
and suddenly you're there
You take me by the hand
to pull me from my hell
The fire I can't withstand
I start to cry out
and you won't let me go
Until we're out of this drought
When I finally open my eyes
The sky is black again
until the sun begins to rise
you hold me close to you
and I watch with deep affection
and our sky turns the softest blue.
And I wrote it really fast, so give me a break :P
