Are there fewer lesbians in the world?

Anyways, i'm not kidding. It seems like there aren't nearly so many as there are gay guys. Uh... Why? And i don't just mean online, but IRL it's odd to find a girl who's gay.

I donno ... at my school there are heaps of lesbian and bisexual chicks and 2 openly gay guys. I think that may be because lesbians are more accepted at our school in comparison to gay guys.

I actually agree with you Gwyn, I don't know many Gay guys tbh.. (Irl I mean) and I know 1 Bi girl but she sort of hates me. But My friend Jamie has said that at Party field theres loads of lesbians, so idk Maybe they just hide. Though I don't think the people in this town would be accepting =/

yes. We get more segregation.

That being said, not all lesbians need to prove themselves so they are quieter than us.

Also, gay men are more annoying and louder than lesbians.

Actualy Ive seen that women who have unusual sexual orientations are much more accepted than males with the same orientation. I dont know why that would be but it is.

Well, im 13, and if youve ever read some of my last posts, you will know that one of my closest friends experimented with me (though it wasnt a rape, i somewhat consider it like that since I at first didnt want to) and ever since that, ive been having fantasies and i could go on ;) but the problem is, i cant tell my parents, or anyone really. i have tried to tell people, but it gets harder every time i try to, especially to my sisters therapist. please help me!

I don't think it's more to do with there are more or less of us, it just seems that for some reason people make a much bigger song-and-dance about gay/bisexual dudes than about lesbians, where I live the whole "you aren't a straight guy" thing is a very loud topic...

But that said, I don't know ANY girls where I live who are openly lesbian/bisexual...
So it might be more to do with guys in general aren't as afraid to come out as girls are,
