I was hanging out with a couple of friends today and one went quiet, sat in a corner and brought out a knife she seems to carry around...She cried with her head in her hands and brought it along her arm...it only made a scratch, but what's the best thing to do in that situation? Basically I had her come with me to hang out somewhere else and to cheer up...I didn't know what else to do.

Shes doing it in public
Not going deep because shes scared of the pain
and is carying around the knife in public and playing with it

I an DEFINATLY not a professional
but I think shes confused, lonley and wants attention
If I was you i'd support and give her sum
cheer her up, let her talk to you, try and make her laugh and just...be there for her
