Time runs so easily
We don’t have a chance
To near its speed
Decisions are interrupted
By the passing clock hand

There’s nothing we can do
Sadly, time is all true
There is no lie
No hidden voice

Always consistent
Never stopped,
Never started,
Forever going

It brings us to our beginning
And leads us to our death
Time is our destiny
Leading us to every goal
We can’t turn back
We can’t retry
We can only amend

It gives us our losses
And holds our hopes
Sending us to our dreams
And dropping us our nightmares

And when our time is done
The clock still runs
Carrying us on forever
And holding us in history

It always remembers
Never will it forget
What it brought us from
And lead us too
It saw us through
