I have worn tons of wigs. I have been in a lot of theatre productions, so it comes with the trade. My favourite was the long green one for being an oompa loompa

Oh idea about the itchyness

if you put your hair in a swimcap. Like the kinds that competitive swimmers wear, not an old-lady bath cap :P Keeps your real hair back + you can't feel the wig so mcuh

I wore one halloween but also when I wanted to change my hair color I got a wig and wore it for a day to see people's reactions and see how I looked with it.

I wear one for my Irish dancing. When we go to competitions we have to wear curly hair so it's easier just to get a wig with lots of ringlets. It's so itchy and annoying. Often it hurts from the combs digging into your head.
