It's something that some people enjoy, but I don't really reccomend it because not only can it ruin friendships and make awkwardness but sometimes it can lead to something else which may include the transmission of STI's.

I wouldn't advise it, but if you both want to do it then I guess it's fine. Just make sure your friendship doesn't suffer and it doesn't become any more than just mutual masturbation.

It doesnt have to be just friendship, it could be done in relationships too. Although yeah, its true it could alter your friendship and possibly spread sti's which could make it really awkward, But relationships if its something you both like why not, it'll only make you closer :P unless it goes wrong :S eg. the sti thing.

With a boy or girl it's worth doing, it's really good, but make sure that before you do it, you talk to the person, and say, "After we do this, if either of us gets awkward about it, we have to talk to each other about why we feel that way."
