so.. do i get another expensive ipod or do i go for another make?? because i have a mini that is about 18 months old now and the other day it lost all my songs ang kept on locking up but i have restored it to factory settings and it seems to be fine now. but there is a vhance that it will do it again and the battery doesnt seem to last as long as it used to, probally 2 hours at the most... i dont need any more than 10gb really but i want it to play videos.

My ipod is deffinatly worth it. I've never had a problem with it. I had a Rio before and it broke. All of my songs got deleted and I couldn't put new songs on it. I like my video way better than the other. It has a lot more features on it like, more space *30 gb*, a better screen, movies, podcasts, games, address book, and a ton of other stuff. I didn't like my Rio nearly as much as this one. And some people have Creatives in my class. I didn't like them. I mostly hate the screens on them and ipods are a lot easier to choose things on the menu. It's faster and better.

Ipods are the shit, anyone who thinks differently, should see if they don't like them only because everyone else likes them or if they really just think they are bad. Because I hate to tell you theres not a better product on the markent when it comes to portable music.

it used to have a circle with a line going through it and it would say "Do Not Disconnect" (this is when it plugged up to charge btw)

since then ive removed the battery meter and i have ti to display voltage and where the time is it used to say "iPod Mini" but now it says "iPod Hack"

iPods are way to expensive for what they are worth, the battery life is extreemly poor, and they break easily.

the battery on mine when i got it used to just last ages... and my ipod is just fine now.. even the battery is going strong!!

ipod mini doesnt break easily, the case is some thick metal.....

if you dont like the battery life get an external battery
