or walk up to the field to watch the sunset

What I used to do: contain it, ignore it, drink drink drink, then have a nervous breakdown

What I do now: talk to people, listen to music, run, workout

Talk to a friend, if they're around. But usually when I feel really depressed, I cant contact anybody which kinda sucks. I'll try and draw something, or focus my mind on something. Or go into a corner and cry, sounds like a stupid way to feel better, but I do in the end, just lets it all out I guess. Oh, and listen to music and play sims 2/3. Although sometimes playing sims makes me feel worse....

Usually just keep on bashing through my day, try to keep myself busy to take my mind off it. Or play Call Of Duty on Xbox LIVE.

It works for me.

Talk with my boyfriend.
Maybe have a rant to select family members depending on what's bothering me.
Mope about in my room on the net and watching films.
Read a book.
Sometimes I'll go for a walk or go into town for a bit.
Retreating to the library is something I've been known to do many a time.

I talk to God and tell him all the things that are bothering me, and then later on thank Him for revealing certain things to me about him. Like how he feels when we turn to something else other than Him...or when we turn our backs on him....or when we make him our last priority rather than our first...and a lot of this has come about from me and my gf's break up. =o It was a hidden blessing even though at first is seemed like a complete curse. Yeah but no one nor nothing is better than Christ for helping you feel better. And don't think its just spontanious either, sometimes it takes abit, and takes some searching yourself and your priorities because what I've found out lately, is that a lot of times our priorities are not what they should be.

it may just be me but i have a habit of lashing out at things if i'm too warm and depression would make it worse

Nope not just you, heat affects everyone in that way, it has an affect on your blood flow which causes rises in agrivation.

I talk to my friends, Cry and just listen to my music, edit pictures and stay out of people's way.
Oh and try to focus on something, something that totally unrelated and I throw myself into it for a distraction.
