Yeah, I just shaved my pubes and it itches pretty bad. But it goes away after a little while. Even when i used to just trim them i used to have an itch. But it looks so much better! :)

The first time i ever shaved my pubes it didnt itch. Every time after that, well...it still never itches. There are mainly two factors. One you cant control....whether or not you itch easily and one which is slightly more controllable...how well you are at shaving. Its your decision bro but even if it does itch i say the reward is worth the trouble.

Here you go if you follow these tips you should be fine.

Here are some tips about shaving your pubes. It seems this question always comes up.

1) It is important to trim your pubes real short. You can do this with scissors or clippers clippers work better for me. My suggestion is to trim really short first so you can decide if you really want to shave. If you trim, it won't itch while growing back.

2) Take a warm bath and shower. Apply shaving cream on the pubes and shave them off. Don't go over an area more than once. If you need to shave the area again reapply more shaving cream. This will keep the irritation down.

3) Rinse again with warm water. Check to see if you have any areas that need to be shaved again. If you do reapply shaving cream. It is important to not go over an area lots of time or it will cause an irritation.

4) Once you are done, I always use a towel and dab the area dry. After the area is dry I always apply rubbing alcohol to the area. It will stink at first but it will soothe in a couple of minutes. I do this every time I shower for the next few days and I don't have that much trouble with itching like everyone else complains about.

Personally I think you should trim your pubes first then see how you like them short before you decide to shave them.

Just trim it, it wont itch so much, and personally, i prefer just trimmed over shaved.

If you do want to shave make sure it is against the grain, but personally trimming is far better as it doesn't itch when you cut the hair where as shaving most of the time will cause you to itch down there

i would say just trim untill u start shaving else where, i think once u have practice somewhere else like your face it would not be hard to do it to your pubes

Shaving will itch more than trimming. Cutting it all off will itch more than trimming.

Your best bet is trimming, then if you don't like it bare then it's not all gone. Whereas if you cut it all off....

The itch is real, I suggest just trimming.

Matt, you're pretty young looking, if you shave them all off anyone that gets to see might think they haven't grown yet!

Maybe people shouldn't be looking at innocent children?

I wasnt for one minute suggesting that they should. But if he happened to get intimite with a friend, or be undressed in a locker room or something, it might just look like pre-puberty, that was all I was saying.

Depending on how secure Matt is, this could actually be a problem I guess. I wouldn't worry too much, but yeah...

Well, just ask yourself: In which way do I feel more comfortable?? I mean, the main point here is you must feel comfortable with yourself. If you feel comfortable by shaving it, so just do it. Really, do whatever makes you feel good with yourself.

Whatever the case is, I agree that you look young, and if you have to change in gym and stuff I'm sorry but guys are just fucking assholes, so they will totally probably make comments. But personally, nobody sees it but me and maybe my future boyfriend lol, so I don't want a freaking forest down there.

Just trim them down with scissors. Like, just trim them down. It's pretty hard to cut them completely off, and if you cut too close, you'll snip yourself.
Be careful. Especially if you decide to trim anything like behind your balls or something.

It literally brought tears to my eyes. lol

Like Zach said, be careful!
