So my girlfriend calls me up today, and says to me "I love you, and only you, and we're human and we all make mistakes,"

So immediately I saw where this was going.
She's good friends with this kid she used to date, whom I do not like at all, and she went to his house to hang out on Sunday, and I told her that was fine, and I trusted her.

She had told me that she kissed him, and that it meant nothing, and I know a kiss isn't that big of a deal, and I'm extremely happy that she told me, but now I'm just kind of confused. We've been going out for nearly a year, and she went out with this dude for a month or two.
Should I trust her again? She promised me that it'd never happen again, and she feels terrible about it, and she's never lied to me before. But I don't know.

Ive been in that situation except i was teh one doing the kissing. I regretted it so much. If you believe that she really is sorry and trustworthy then maybe its not that big a deal. But its gonna be up to you in the end. Just remember, We ARE all human, mistakes DO get made. If you love her and can bring yourself to trust her again then do. Because Love is so rare in this world at the moment. every little counts.

Sometimes love is worth fighting for.
Just don't throw it away bc you feel you "ought" too, out of principles or pride if you don't genuinely think that is the choice you really really do want to make, not if you are confident that she won't do this again. You might just end up causing yourself more heartache. I know I did.
It's not easy, for me there were/are (depending on my mood) tears, trust issues, paranoia, over-analysing, sleepless nights, and various other stupid things... but in the end I managed to keep the one I love with all of my heart.
And words cannot express how grateful I am.

I managed to keep my girl too :) but its seriously getting rocky atm. But Im still making a point of fighting to keep it together
