im over this shit, ive finally come out and things have gone from bad to worse, i came out to mum and dad and i feel like our relationship changed, and without them ive got nothing, i cant tell my brother because hes so homophobic hed disown me, then the boy who i finally thought id fallen in love with, is now dating my cousin, which hurts more than anything because i feel so betrayed, they both knew i liked him, then today i read a comment from him to my cousin that said "im falling for you really hard, you make me feel like im floating, i lvoe you so much", after he told me he oesnt want a relationship" and its a feeling of betrayal. This is getting way beyond a joke, im so depressed, im ashamed of being me, i hate being me, i have the lowest self esteem ive ever had, i feel like a worthless piece of dirt, once again im sorry if this isnt the right place

Shit happens man. The only recommendation I can make to you right now is to just stay calm, turn on a good song and sit and relax. I cant tell you how many times I have been rejected, it happens, it will happen, just learn to get used to it. If you think your relationship changed with your parents, tell them and say you hate it. Parents will understand and talk to you if they really care about you.

Sorry to read that Lex. You cant help what you are, you try to feel comfortable with yourself how you are. I know how tricky that can be, but we cant choose our sexuality and really its nothing to be ashamed of. It certainly doesnt make you worthless.
Give your parents a bit more time, hopefully they will get used to the idea and realise that your still the same son they've always had and loved.
Stay strong if you can, and remember there are always people on here that you can talk to who understand what you're going through and who do not see another person's sexuality as a barrier to friendship.
Best wishes, Nick

Trumpeter_2911, I want to start by saying, you, are not worthless, you are a human being, not just flesh and bone. There are people out there for you to go to, and there are people who need you, and they do not care about sexuality.
You parents will just need more time, like Nick said, you are the same son they have sad since you were born, they just need to adapt to what you told them you are who you are, now that you've embraced it, be patient and allow others to embrace you as well.
Just sit back, relax, put on some soft music, and clear your mind, there will always be another guy, and if the one you love hasn't picked you yet, give it time, he may come to his senses, and realize you're the one, if not, he's not right for you, even if you believe it to be. Until then there will ALWAYS be folks out there that love you and will always be there to support you. So hold your head high and be proud! Dont let the opinions of others rule your life, you only live once
