You shouldn't be someone you don't want to be. You could talk to her about it and give it a go. Being outgoing isn't bad and you could try to be more outgoing, but if you aren't comfortable, don't do it.

she's your gf mate. she wants the best for you and obviously she thinks you're ready. no one likes change mate, but it doesn't hurt to try. remember, you're no longer in this on your own. you and her are now a team and you must grow together and trust in her judgement.
