Today, after a slight freak out I had, I told a cousin about my SI. I'm terrified that she'll tell someone that will tell my mum. >.< I feels horrible that I can't bring myself to trust family. >.< But... Yeah, so I'm freaking out a little

Its hard to trust your family. Believe me! I cant tell my mum that i made out with a girl. Let alone Self Harm! I cant even talk to them about it so it is perfectly normal. Just explain to her that you wouldnt like her to tell your parents about it JUST yet. And then slowly talk with her about it. Its GREAT that you have someone IRL (in real life) to talk to about it

She knows I don't want my mum knowing, and promised me she wouldn't let her find out.... But I still don't truly believe it. >.<

Trust you cousin, and believe in her. And one day hopefully soon you will be able to talk to your mum alone about it :)

talk to your cousin, and tell her if she tells anyone else including your mum it will make things worse for you - trust her :)

but maybe this is a good opertunity to get it out in the open? so u can recover?? xx
