Not to offend anyone, but I am aghast at the hundreds of "curious" men who have had oral ir anal. I'm starting to believe less and less in the hormone excuse. I think it's simply bi and gay men afraid to come to grips with the CURRENT situation. I'm not saying they are forever bi, but that they currently are, what do you think?

So you are trying to say that people who are "curious" simply are gay / lesbian people afraid to admit their sexuality?

No I think that he is saying that people who use the excuse of "I'm curious because of hormones and I'll get over it when I am older" are actually just denying that they are bisexual/homosexual...
Not sure if I 100% agree on that though...

Whoa, whoa, you just said "I'm not saying they are forever bi, but they currently are"
What does that even mean? So they can change bi and then not be bi? I strongly disbelieve that.
I think we are all bi in a little way. I think that a mostly straight guy can enjoy mutual masturbation with another guy. Maybe even sex. But prefer women. Or not want to do anything else with a guy. Some just find it too disgusting. I mean really it's like the kinsey scale.
Curiosity is a natural part of puberty and everybody goes though it.

Yeah dude, that doesn't make any sense. The hormones and curiosity "excuse," as you put it, has been proven by doctors. Also, being homosexual or bisexual requires that you feel EMOTIONAL attraction to people of the same gender, so if a guy is only physically attracted to other guys, he's not gay or bi.
Also, no one can be sure of their sexuality as a teenager. It's literally impossible to determine your lifelong sexuality when you are a teen.
One last thing, I think that especially in this day and age, anyone who isnt afraid to post stories and questions about sexual experienxes with other people of the same gender on a website for anyone in the world to see aren't gonna be afraid to admit that they might not be heterosexual.

I don't agree with that. Most of those guys don't have any emotional attraction to their "partners" at all. And again, to be bi or gay you have to be emotionally attracted too. But i think that anal really shouldn't be done same as oral as a "friendly" thing. Should be done only by couples.

I don't agree, it's not an excuse. It is true. But yeah, they shouldn't be having sex if they're only curious.

I agree with what most people here have said; some people are genuinely curious and will experiment to try to find out exactly where they stand, but there's a point imo where things go past just experimentation.

Oh my god, finally! I agree with you so much! I've been frustrated about this for so long!
"Hey guys, I like dicks, and masturbate to gay porn. I want to jack off with my friend, and I sucked a penis once. I liked it. But I can't connect with guys emotionally. Am I gay?"
"No! It's just your hormones! You're completely straight!"

i disagree completly i have experimented with a guy before but i no 100% that i am not bi or gay and it was jsut out of curiosity.. and actually it is scientifly proven that hormones DO cause these feeling and it has nothing too do with your sexuality..

Yes there are several people whose condition can be genuinely equate to hormones, by for others it's just an excuse!

Ok. Sorry to bring a story in here, but it's relevant. Hi, my name is Brandon. I j/o to men often and dream about them. Yet I feel no emotional attraction to them. Allllsooooo I feel no sexual attraction to girls, yet can feel an emotional attachment to them. What am I? Not gay or straight, asexual haha?

It's not fair to those who accept themselves for people to so nonchalantly attribute everything concerning homosexual behavior to hormones! So, I will say it how I think it is. To those who feel the need to blame your desires on hormones, I think it's an excuse. And if you think you can't become emotionally attached to a particular sex, you're likely to be in denial. Just my $0.02.

I like girls sexually and emotionally, but I also like cocks. I don't like guys faces nor do I feel any emotions towards them (I'm not in denial because I've tried to see if I could become attracted before). What does this make me?
This confuses the hell out of me because I don't want to be attracted to guys because they're all ugly, but then I think "What if I subconsciously think they're hot and I just suppress it?" I mean, do I know I'm suppressing it, or am I just gonna wake up one day and think "Wow, all this time I was gay"? I've liked girls before, but I've never liked guys. I still jerk off thinking about them though. Wtf?

This is a weird question because science and doctors have both proven that hormones can cause all sort of things. For example in puberty boys go from seeing girls as friends to seeing them as sex partners. Then again, in some cases perhaps some boys are in denial. But in my opinion (taking in Mastermind's case and what science and doctors tell us) I believe that hormones can makes some people do things that they thought they wouldn't do. And perhaps some people are in denial and in their society being gay isn't accepetable. Either way both ways may be correct.

I agree with one of your points: quite a few gay or bi people are afraid to come out of the closet, and therefore "act straight"
But I do think hormones can make you curious, some guys may not be attracted but just want to see where they are physically in relation to their peers.

Some people can't be described. Hell, look at my post and try to define what I am.

Kinsey scale??
OOoooooOOooOOOOooooAAAAaaaahhhhHHHhhhhh. Makes sense now.
If you understand the Kinsey scale, it would help explain all this.
The reason we say "you're straight" is because most people ARE curious, and super horny. We wonder about each other's bodies. How is that not natural?? How is it natural NOT to wonder about things that our society keeps mostly secret??????
The horny part - they can probably masturbate to gay porn because they're so horny that if I freakin baseball bat rubs up against their dick it's gonna probably get hard. If a girl touches their ear OMG hardon.
It makes sense.
Also the fact that this is just how we give advice on our forum. Many noobs copy the older member's advice, so it gets repeated.
Some of them are in fact gay.
Some of them make up bogus stories because they think it's funny.
I agree that labels are necessary.

when your in puberty hormones go crazy working on the body, you are cuious of others growth in comparison of your own and sometimes want to experiment for fun.
when you reach the end of puberty hormones slow down and you can begin to see what you are really attracted to without the hormones jumping in
