Height

Hi im not sure if this belongs on this board but whatever. I was just wondering how many of you actually care about height when your looking for a girl(or boy). Because i met this girl that i like but is like 2-3 taller and it was kinda weird at first but i think i just have to get used to it. So this question is mostly towards guys. Do you care if a girl is taller than you?

I think it's a mental thing. Guys want to be bigger and stuff like that to feel like they can protect them.

It'd probably nag at me but I'd most likely get over it.

honestly mate, yes. maybe because i'm 6'2". in a perfect world it shouldn't matter, but it does. in your case, if you love each other, then nothing else matters, besides taller girls are equally beautiful, loving and considerate.

Heya, just thot I'd post on here to give a girl's side of things.

I am pretty tall for a girl, 5'10", and love to wear heels which normally takes me well over the 6 foot mark. For me, ideally I like tall guys, probably as was said above, for the feel of being protected etc. But for me, I still like guys shorter than me, hello... I can't only date guys that are over 6 foot!! For me it doesnt really matter, but what can matter is a guy with a "small man" complex you know, wouldn't like me wearing heels while with him, if I am comfortable with the guy, and he is ok with my height then everythings cool!!

My own personal preference is girls who are either the same height as me or slightly shorter, just what I find more physically attractive. But I would not rule someone off just because of their height.

I would. I find tall girls unappealing, personally. I'm average height for a guy (5'8") and, honestly? I don't want to grow anymore. I adore my height. And most girls are shorter than me anyway.

But I wouldn't date a tall girl. It doesn't even have to do with a stigma or anything of that sort. I just find tallness unattractive and find myself very attracted to petite girls. The six foot juggernauts they display in modeling and such? I've never felt even the slightest attraction to them. Maybe it's just me, but I never got into that whole model physique; I like girls to be girls. Not posters on my bedroom wall.

I wouldn't disassociate with a chica because she's tall, but I wouldn't be attracted to her. Does that make me a bad person? No, it just means I have a sense of taste.

Sure, if it comes down to it and i fell in love with a girl taller than me it wouldnt matter, but my current preference is in girls shorter than me and a few other variables. Being 6' it is rare to come across many girls taller than me. And all the girls i like range from 5'4" to 5'10".

being 6' 2" I'm generally taller than most girls. I don't care however if a girl was taller than me. I've got a girl who is my friend who is just as tall as me and with heals she would be taller but I'd have no problem with that were I to date her.

being 5"5 yeah it's a little hard to find a girl shorter than me, so I am used to it. However when girls physically have to look down on you, they tend to look at you less romantically.
