I know and have heard of people who are in their mid-twenties and have been self-harming since they were teenagers. I don't want to end up like that but I feel like I'll never completely stop. I might stop for 2 or 6 months at a time, maybe even a year, but I'll always go back to it. I really screwed myself over when I made that first cut. :/

well(just a suggestion) next time you go to cut, think to yourself, do i still want to be doing this when im 20,25,30? all of us have screwed up by making that first cut, but its important that we need we have screwed up. by you saying it was stupid of me to make that first cut, you've made a big step towards recovery. as kyrra and aaron said, you are strong, you can do it. if you need to, pm me
