I got two 12" Jensen subs (model jsw-124) from a friend for free. I don't have a car cuz I can’t drive yet but I really like bass and want to get them banging in our house. I need help finding what I need for a good price and need advice. They are 175 watts RMS each (4 ohms) so I need a 350 watt amplifier. Right now it seems I will have to use a pc power supply with two +12 volt wires to power the amplifier. I need two 12 volt lines because using one will not provide enough amps. If I run the wires in a parallel circuit (red wire to red wire and black to black) I’m pretty sure it will combine the amps but keep the voltage the same. Will that work? What good sites can I find an amplifier and/or a power supply? And any one who has wired subwoofers into a vehicle or knows a lot about them feel free to post.
PS: I need 12 volts DC at 30-40 amps to power the amp.
