Thank you everybody who has contributed to the beauty that is Google Chrome. I know it is overdue, but I thought I'd just post a small token of my appreciation.

I like Google Chrome because it is the first browser that seems natural to use, everything 'falls to hand'. For example, no toolbars or 'add ons', just a very minimal interface and maximum real estate for web-pages. Also, the 'omni-box' is brilliant, I can just type whatever I am thinking (URL or search term) into it and it gives something back, not just an error message.
I like its stability (which for vista is a MAJOR plus) and its security (also, major plus on vista).

The best thing about it is how it deals with downloads; presented on a minimal bar at the bottom of the page, and even if I close the page it continues to download in the background. It even stops '.exe' files (the most dangerous kind) from being able to run until you confirm it.

I don't even mind Google knowing what websites I go on (which is something I'd mind my parents knowing ), because I think it is a fair payment for something this good.

So, once again, thank you Google and anybody else who helped.

Now for the question: do you like chrome?

I like Chrome for all the same reasons as you.
Mostly that it's more natural to use,
Without the add-ons giving you a headache.

It's sooo fast. I really like using Google Chrome. Sure I wouldn't say it's particularly superior, because I'm not a tech geek, but I'd say that it really suits my needs and I'll adapt what I do to have it. So that's why it's my fav.

Avant use to be my fav but it got really slow??
