I was browsing youtube and came across this video, it shows what happens to McDonald's food after 10 weeks, warning to those with weak stomachs - quite discusting but worth to see.

Yeah, I already knew the fries would do that.
A friend of mine left a bag of unfinished fries in their backseat one time,
And months later, same result as in that video.

In no way is it the same effect as leaving them in a jar to eating them. In a jar they are exposed to a whole host of bacteria, which accounts for the mould, whereas in our digestive system it is broken down by enzymes.
Although I must admit it is freaky the fries did not break down, maybe they have some kind of preservative on them that the burgers did not.

Ha, for some reason that made me laugh. That is freaky. I don't know if I'll eat McDonald's fries again, but I'll still have to eat there. Is that the guy from the movie Supersize me?

the difference in the way the fries reacted may be the way they were cooked. i work at a McDonald's, and i see the process happen. The fries are cut from skinned potatoes, and then fried in oil. The fries that were moldy were obviously made in an oven.
And this proves absolutely nothing about the food when it enters your body, by the way.
Honey doesn't spoil ever, but it doesn't mean it's fatty and terrible for you.

Well I will hate to be attacked over this but............. I love Mcdonalds fries! :D:D
And seriously. Do any of you actually believe those fries will stay in your stomach for that long? Your stomach will have digested that in a day. If those fries were still in my stomach from the first one I ate, They would be spilling out of my mouth.

Granted the fact that the food were just in jars but look at everything else, they turned moldy within a few days, but the fries stayed the same, surely something is going on in the production line.

Thats why it has a holding period, beyond that it should be in trash can.

Haha, uhm eventually most food gets gross. Especially after sitting in a closed jar for 10 weeks! When you eat them though, they don't stay in there for ten weeks so it doesn't really matter. Plus no one buys McDonalds keeps it for ten weeks, then eats it.

That test is faulty because any kind of external bacteria could have entered the jar. A sterile environment would be needed to make a fair comparison.

I didn't eat iot.. thats gross, all i said was that it was edible, meaning it was still good enough to eat... -.- And Mcdonalds puts stuff in their food that people don't know of, thus preserving it for long periods of time

yeah there is a difference between your stomach and the back seat of a car. It is gone in a day because your stomach digests it

this is stupid. McDonalds is just like any other fast food resturaunt. just because morgan sporlock did a documentary on mickey dees doesnt mean that burger king or wendys is any better.
