School Drug test tomorrow...

Well last night i went to a party and smoke a little weed. Our school is known for giving oral and saliva drug tests. I believe I will have a little over 32 hours of not smoking weed. The reason they are giving it is because there was a fight at the party and most of the people at the party were called to the sheriffs department to give a statement about the fight. Well I passed out in the truck while the fight went on and never even got called by the sheriff. 3 people ended up getting arrested for it. But anyway apparently the principal got a list of the people at the party and is planning on drug testing us tomorrow at the first day of school. I was just wondering what i need to do to prepare for the test if I even get tested even though I didn't get called to the sheriff's. I really don't know why they are giving the test since the party had nothing to do with school and two of the people arrested already graduated, Anyway any help would be appreciated. thanks

There is nothing to 'prepare' for .... unless you're asking for ways to beat the drug test (which would be really, really wrong, and could get users banned).

Anyway: in every jurasdiction I've ever heard of, no school anywhere can force you to take a drug test. Even the Sherif can't force you to take one without a court order.

If you're concerned about this on a moral standpoint, politely refuse to take the test, and ask for your parents -- and a lawyer if any LEOs are there.

Well, it's my own personal choice to smoke marijuana, so please don't tell me not to because I won't listen to you. Anyway, a few people that were at the party got called to the office and questioned about some stuff, and this one kid got asked by a sheriff if the kid smoked that night. The sheriffs didn't come until around 4 am, but we left at like 2am. But I never got called to talk about it, so I guess no one ever told them my name. I never got drug tested either, so I think it has all just blown over. Thanks anyways for the advice.

Don't tell him what to do, it's his body and he didn't harm anyone, the way I see it, even if you test positive you shouldn't get in too much trouble, your a minor and you didn't cause any damage to property or harm anyone, you weren't reckless and unless you're found to have moderate amounts of the stuff in your possession you shouldn't be charged. That's how it works in Australia any way. I've been pulled up by the feds before and I was a bit baked and had a slice on me, they just let me on my way and told me to be careful, took my name and stuff, but nothing ever amounted from it.

ok, well theres a few things to do
get "sick" for a few days, this will give you time to help work it out your system, if your really concerned about this you can run a mile everyday for a week while your "sick", this will work the thc out of your system, yes its wrong to beat a drug test but schools shouldn't be butting into your business like this anyway its your parents job to keep you drug free not the schools, so basically just buy time and look up info on how long you need for it to come off your saliva

I don't have a lesson to learn, I was just asking for a few tips about taking the drug test. Like in case I failed, what I should do or something to that effect. I will continue my marijuana use as I believe it has little effect on my body whatsoever.

I am a known pothead at my school by the teachers...and they tried to drug test me! I came home one day and my mom told me about it. They called her and asked...but shes cool and said fuck no. I went so school the next day and flipped out on my teachers, and they flat out denied it. I snooped around in one of my teachers desks, and on her calendar...it said my name. I took it, and when she came back I slapped it on her desk, and said "What is this???" and they were having a meeting about me because "I come to school acting high" But anyway....thats my story. I dont think they can force you to take a drug test.

If it is your personal choice, then you should know the consequences.
Suck up and take the drug test.
You wouldn't have anything to worry about if you weren't guilty.
Since you know you did do the drugs, I say flaunt it.

If you know that you shouldn't be doing it but then you want to run away from it when they want to test you thats cowardice.
If they catch you, you had it comin'.
If they don't you get lucky.

In other words, you will likely lose your jobs, which are probably shitty in the first place, since all you really are are pot heads anyway. Well fortunately a lot of potheads have the ability to stop for a couple days before the drug test so then they can get the job and resume pot smoking after.
I personally think its unfair.

I wish random drug testing was mandatory at every employer. Cut out all the fucking pot heads from jobs, then they wouldn't make any money and be able to buy pot...they could grow it I suppose, but with no income, it's going to be pretty hard to live, especially for a pot head.

I know how to beat drug test's im just not gonna say because I love this site and don't wanna get banned.
but anyways
if you knew that you were gonna have the drug test done then why did you do drugs the night before, drugs take at least a week to get fully out of your system.
so I just say wait for the result if you haven't already gotten it back.

I am clinically enabled to use marijuana, but due to my states laws on the substance, I must use it illegally.

To say that the users don't deserve jobs is ridiculous. You don't know why people use marijuana, and for me, it's gets me more interested in things because my anxiety combined with my PTSD causes me to be HIGHLY unmotivated.

It's a serious speech impediment, and I'll sometimes take several minutes just to get ONE word out. Often, I get so angry, that I'll give up on conversation. This is quite depressing, as I have a large vocabulary and am very intellectual. I know I could have great conversations if I didn't have this problem. However, whenever I use marijuana, my speech impediment dies down greatly. I mean, If I do have trouble get a word out, it'll take less than a second, and happens very rarely.

It's made me a much more social person, and this has benefited me greatly.
