my dad just canceled vacation because he is mad at my step mom for coming home from work two hours late. he went way too far this time. he said nothing can change his mind, and he really meant it! i tried everything! since then i have been yelling at him all day and i am trying to avoid him. i don't want to talk to him ever again, and i feel like moving into my best friend's house. i am about to walk out of the house, go to the park, and call my best friend and ask her for her address. i know i should not do that, but i really want to.

Suggests to me that there are other problems between your Dad and Stepmum's relationship or there has been in the past.I have never heard of anyone who cancels a vacation just because someone is late home from work.

First you should stop yelling, and do not consider running away or any crap like that. Speak calmly and responsibly to your parents/guardians about how you feel.
