Both my parents wear glasses, and i need them to. I don't really want glasses because they would look weird on me. I kept putting getting glasses off but now i want to drive and to drive i need to be able to see. So I'm thinking about contacts.

Who has contacts and is it easy to put them on, does it hurt and other important stuff about them.

I have had contacts for 7 years now. I prefer to wear them instead of glasses. I always use my contacts to play sports or umpire. Well it takes a while getting used to putting the contacts in an taking them out.

How long did it take you to get used to them.

I have had them for 3 years now, and they're much better than glasses. It does take a bit of getting used to. It should be easy and fast putting them in and out after a couple of weeks.

it only hurts if you poke yourself or get a eyelash in it.. your optomotrist will probably give you help your first time. or look to a friend that wears contacts

Doesnt usually hurt unless you mess with them or get something in your eye and tends to only take a few weeks to get used to them. you can probably find out more from your (cant spell the real word) eye doctor (what are they even called?). much easier and more practical in some ways than glasses.

Contacts are easy. It only took me a week or so to get used to them, and once you do, they are totally worth it. They don't get dirty or scratched like glasses and they don't glare. You can't feel them once you get used to them, and it's easy and not uncomfortable putting them in and taking them out (unless there's something on them or they're ripped, in which case you can just rinse them out with solution or replace them). They're a lot more convenient than glasses IMO. The kind I use are called Acuvue Oasys for astigmatism.
