Anyone else?

Does anyone feel like they have an itch where they usually cut and it just won't go away. Like I feel a real tangible itch right there and no matter how much I scratch it just won't go away. It's almost like it'll only go away if I cut it. Of course I won't do that. I've gone a week so far with no damage and was wondering if this happens to anyone else. Thanks. :)

yeah all the time i think its cos of the bacteria or the blood that itches i could be wrong though

it is all part of the healing process, the skin pulling back together/healing, that is what causes the itching. completely normal :)

But does it last for more than a week?

it lasts until the cut is completely healed, so it depends on how deep the cut is. the deeper the cut, the longer it takes to heal, the longer it itches :]

and if you take off the scab then the healing process is reset practicaly and it lasts a lot longer, my longest was about a month coz i kept taking the scab off and it has scarred badly as a result

I do! I think It becomes a scab or whatever and then I just pick at it

yes, like mentioned above it just your skin healing and repairing itself from the damage. compeletly normal, odn't scratch the scab off causes worse scars...
