OK today i found out i have Lyme disease and i went to the clinic to get blood work done and i really started... not liking any of it. i asked the lady doing the test and she said that the antibiotics SOMETIMES work and the blood test is SOMETIMES wrong and the doctor said i MIGHT have Lyme so he put me on antibiotics anyways. the pills are three times a day, one in the early morning (i don't wake up until 12 pm) one in afternoon (like 12 pm) and one at night (6-8 pm) most of the time i work from 11am to 3 and then 630pm to 10! conflicting greatly with the pill times

all im saying is that i don't really trust the whole thing and am asking what would happen if i just didn't worry about it and didn't do anything (no pills, no results, nothing) because the whole deal is wayyy to sketchy for me.

also does anyone else not trust doctors/hospital?

thanks for reading my rant and responding vt 4tw!

Read this
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvbid/Lyme/
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/lyme-disease/DS00116/DSECTION=when-to-seek-medical-advice

If you do nothing and you have it, it will not go away. on paragraph 2 of the mayo clinic site it says

Left untreated, Lyme disease can spread to other parts of your body from several months to years after infection — causing arthritis and nervous system problems

You should take your pills so it goes away and won't spread.

Surely you can make time in your schedule to take a little pill? Just carry them around with you and keep a bottle of water.

I can totally understand your frustration with your medical provider especially with your diagnosis not being certain. However, speaking from experience I WOULD NOT blow off your pills, and you have to adjust to the dosing schedule as you can and will really screw yourself over big time if you don't take precautions. Especially with your being from the Northeast based upon your profile there is a high chance you could have Lyme disease which is something that can really mess with you especially your brain. I would deal with the minor inconvenience with the pills anyday rather than suffer long-term health problems.

Basically, stick to your pill schedule, and get one of those pill cases from Walgreens which you can carry around so that you don't miss a dose. While your tests are not conclusive at least your doctor is taking precautions which you should do so, too.
