Can a pee test find STD's? im scared to hand mine in just in case i have one. my parents would most likly have me in so much trouble!

This is how i think i may have gotten one....

Me and a girl masturbated together and used the same thing. we did wash it a lil but im sure our fluids must have been a lil muxed in at some point...i dunno. im a bit paranoid. i no this girl hasnt ever had sex, and this would have been her first time doing anything like this. So i only think she could have gotten one by getting passed down by her mom but i dont no if her mom has one.


Dont tell me to get tested i wont, i just wanna no bout the pee test

well if you have an std
wouldnt you prefer to know about it and get it treated
than to have it go untreated and cause great possibly life threatening damage?
so id say suck it up and hand the test in

the chances of me having one is slim to nothing ill post how i think i got it.

i get super paranoid. all i no is when im 18 or younger ill go by myself and find out....but do u no, can they detect one from a pee test?

Dude if you think you have an STD go get tested, if you wait then you will risk getting some of the bad symptons associated with it. You need to go and go ASAP this isn't something to play about.

Having a situation with your parents is worth finding out you have an std, if you do. So you have to do it.

Go get tested! If your worried then you should. Why would you want to risk getting sick or sometimes death? Just go take your pee test. You need to know about something that is this IMPORTANT.

They can test _some_ STI's from urine, but not all. An HIV test requires blood, but some bacterial infections will show up in urine tests... but only if they specifically screen for them. NOTHING is going to 'randomly' show up on a test... they have to look for something specific. Unless your doctor has a reason to look for it, he's not going to find it.

That being said, there are many, MANY free clinics you can goto to get tested anonomously; and you SHOULD GET TESTED if you have ANY reason (even a small one) to belive you may have been infected. Many STI's are curable, but only in the early stages. Some will clear up no problem with only a bit of penicillin, but will litterally kill you if left unchecked.

So unless you live in some tiny town with only one hospital: GET TESTED!

...and, really, even if you do.

This is what i found..... It seems like STD can be tested by the pee test....

STD testing = easy. Usually just have to pee in a cup.
