its weird for me coz it stops often, and only when i'm upset do i get urges. Usually i dont get them. its weird..

On the whole, yes it does - it just takes time to get there.
I've not self harmed regularly for about 2 years and only get urges when I'm really (and I mean really) down.

i think so. i mean if you can stop for long periods of time like aaron, or sapphire, then its simply a case of applying that same mentality to a longer time frame(in theory, bnot out of personal experience) i mean, only someone who has truly beaten it can honestly say.

not really, i mean.. not for me anyway. i find that if i keep myself busy, I dont get urges as much, but it's just like any other form of addiction, it's a fight that unfortunately we'll almost always have. but as time goes on, its less frequent and seems to be easier :)

its been 28 days for me.
i am getting alot better the urge doesnt come as much anymore. when it does i just keep myself busy or i go on the phone and talk to someone about it.
