Don't leave me here,
all alone once again,
crying on the stairs,
everything rushing back in,
all the pain not yet healed.
Don't leave me here,
the point between giving up,
and what I need,
one little push is all it takes,
but I'm stuck in this void.
Don't leave me here,
with a new meaning to,
the dead of night,
where nothing is sound,
and nothing is sight.
Don't leave me here,
the gap not worth closing,
or so it seems,
the indecision,
coming to the point of madness.
I would rather be flying,
than be waiting here,
flying on the cotton clouds,
with wings of extrvagant white,
carrying me to safety.
Or down below,
beneath the Earth,
where agony ensures,
there is no escape,
save you.
So tear me down,
or lift me up,
just make a choice,
take me anywhere,
but don't leave me here.
