I think we should automaticly ban these pointless because they are just repetitive and off topic

Um no people shouldn't be banned because of that and if you don't like looking at it just avoid them. You don't have to go to p101 and read those threads.

He is right about them being very repetitive though, why not make an official sticky thread for them and all questions/comments be placed there, that'd at least cut down on the number of threads being made about it.

for some reason that isn't working with the penis size and masturbation threads.

It should be noted that friends asking for advice about masturbating with friends ARE prohibited. If you see one, it's easiest to simply report it and someone will get around to dealing with it.

They are against the rules.
Simply report them and they will be handled.
Simple :)

I think if they'd take the time to check if their question has been asked before, the number of those threads would be significantly dropped.

Correctamundo.
Unfortunately people don't read the announcements nor rules.
Nor do they always utilize common sense. But whatever.
If you can figure a way to make people do that, then youll forever be engrained in my heart :P

Does this mean I can come back? Because I literally feel as if you've sent me to the corner.
Anyway, the Puberty 101 forum has been used ALOT.
And I'm wondering why they won't go to those stickies.
I think the names of them are quite obvious.

You haven't been sent away...
People are just too preoccupied with getting their thread made so their question can get answered. Sometimes searching isn't the easiest thing either because they don't know how to properly search.
Either way, its a problem that really can't be fixed so we should just drop it :P

QFT.
That's probably one of the main problems in P101, maybe no one actually bothers to read the rest of the threads, even though the title would probably give it away.

Maybe one of those re-directing page things!

When you log in or something.
It has that box that says "Click here if page doesn't automatically re-direct you."
Like a filter that filters the name of a thread. Only familiar ones that have specific words like "penis size" "jacking off" and stuff. But not ones with "HELP MEEE!" because that could be a whole number of things.

A filter isn't a bad idea. If we could put a filter for common phrases to a certain sticky, it would minimize the repetitive questions.
But keeping it now doesn't bother me because I don't go to the P101 section anyway. Although it is an easy way to raise post count.

There are stickies that link to threads that answer popular questions if thats what you mean...

There will always be those kind of threads and there will always be people who don't read them and make their own. It's just a part of this site that we have to live with and get over it. Usually they just come here ask the question and leave anyway.

That sucks. But you've been here longer than me. So I'm sure you know. :)

When I was a mod I often locked repetitive threads and advised the user to search for their answer, it did make things a lot tidier IMO.

Maybe that should be done now.

Maybe it should be announced or a new entry in the suggestion box. :)

I do think the threads should be locked or something. There are a lot of them, if somebody has a problem with a friend, they should just check out the other posts.
