Double denim

I'm just going to come right out and say it: is double denim considered a crime against fashion? Personally, I really like the whole look with a denim jacket and ripped jeans but I've have nothing but shtick from my friends.

Is it really that bad?

Yeah, it really is. And I get where you're coming from because I love my denim jacket and primarily wear jeans, so I run into this fashion problem a lot haha.

Basically it looks silly because you're basically wearing a denim suit hahaha. Try looking for like khaki-type material jacket (they tend to look almost military-ish sometimes, they're pretty cool) to wear with your jeans, or maybe a leather one. Again, I feel your pain because sometimes I really don't want to wear a hoodie, but I don't have many other options.

yeah...all denim is a big nono....
i personally believe that the only denim anyone should be wearing is jeans.

i love denim jackets.
my i'd go for leather anyday.. i really dont have this problem lol

When they are together, I dislike them. But apart, whatever. Together, often, I find the denim colours clash like if you wore black pants and a black shirt, one or the other might be lighter or more black than the other which just looks bad.

Thanks for the advice guys! I want to go and buy some new clothes sometime soon so hopefully this will no longer be a problem. Leather might be better,
