Actually, more like 100-something.

Between the 18th and yesterday over 100 came in ALL in the iTunes folder.. I downloaded about 40-something tracks on the 19th, and updated the program the day before... Somehow the most recent ones were dated 24th (yesterday)

What the fuck?

Not to be rude, but I doubt they came from iTunes. Have you tried running some sort of an Anti-Virus scan to get rid of them?

Duh, that's how i KNOW they came in. My avg picked them up... and in the prossess of deleting them has removed itunes entirely

Try contacting apple support. other than that, what other sites were you on that day?

The only way you could have got it is if you downloaded a botched app I think.

Otherwise I think it came from something else.
Run your virus scanner and quarrentine or make it delete the trojans then call support and bash their asses.

Viruses do copy themselves and spread to other files or can simply just migrate. There is no possible way that you can download a virus from
iTunes. Only human error...

1- its the only place i've downloaded ANYthing in the past three months
2- i did delete it. AND I LOST ITUNES ENTIRELY.

Then just reinstall it. Simple. If the virus is gone, then so are your problems.

Um. hello, it's COMING OFF ITUNES. If i re-instal it, then i'm re-installing whatever apple is trying to dump on my computer

Gwyn you don't have to be so aggressive they are just giving you some advice.

It's actually a bug in AVG there is no virus in iTunes. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2092831&start=0&tstart=0

If free, get Avast.

But I suggest you pay for ESET NOD Antivirus
