How many people think Hillary Clinton should be president. I think she understands all of our countries issues and is willing to fix them. She is a democrat and would be our first lady president. I think she is a good choice for 08'. What do u think>

Well, she would finally get the respect she deserves when we have to call her Mr. President. Mr. President is the official form of address for the Presidnet of the United States. Congresspersons are addressed by the neutral "Representative" so and so, and the more confusing "Senator" so and so. Senator is an old latin term that means "old man" and possibly Old Wise Man but that is a bit of streatch.

The female form would be Sentrix or Senress, using the same rules as the terms Actor/Actress and Author/Authress or Authtrix which is used in only the most pedantic writings. Generals are addressed "General" and cabinet Secrataries are addressed as "Secratary" But the Prsident is called "Mister President." Since the protocal does not recognize the gender of the office holder, all are equal after all and gender is irrlevent, then Hillary Clinton would be "Mr. President"

Bill would not be "First Lady," or "First man," or "First Gentleman," the last one being the corresponding address to "Lady" While this would present a problem to most other husbands of a president protocol says you keep the highest title you ever achieve. So Bill Clinton woul dbe addressed as "Mr. President, " as well in defference to his having acchieved high office. Ex-president or Former President are not part of their title. Once you are sworn in as President you are a President for the rest of your life. In the Press they use former and Ex to avoid confusion with the readers but are not proper forms of address.

I imagine they would be Introduced as "Presidents Hillary and Bill Clinton," should they eneter a room together. This would be in place of the "President and First Lady George W. Bush and Laura Bush" The clintons might call each other 44 and 42 in private. Seems unlikely.

I'm not voting for that psycho loon Hillary, but its fun to think about. You know, if she won and served two full terms their daughter Chelsea will be old enough to run for Presidnt? Mother/daughter presidents after two father/son presidents and the Husband/Wife presidents. That would be two firsts in one blow. Anyways, that's how you make royalty, none of this self destructive Kennedy crap. Chapaquitic! I'd rather go hunting with Cheney then go for a Car ride with Kennedy.

On Thursdays, I enjoy tuning into Sean Hannity's "Man on the Street." This is where he has a member of his crew go on the streets of New York City and find regular joes. He askes them general political questions like "Who is John Roberts?" and "What is a Fillibuster?" Just to see what people say. 90% of the time the people don't have any idea. Then he often askes "Would you vote for Hillary Clinton?"

Most of the people who have no idea about the other aspects of politics say "Sure, why not?"

The other 10%, who know what they are talking about, shudder at the idea. The vast majority of folks who follow politics to any degree do not want to think of Hillary Clinton in the White House. She's a horrid person.

I think she would do great. I have many reasons for thinking this. I don't feel obligated to state these reasons at this point, perhaps closer to the election....

No...I believe I saw a poll before that stated that 46% would vote against her...because she's herself.

A moderate would make a much better president.

Interesting, though. She's going a little more moderate nowadays. The ultra liberal people aren't as happy with her, but she's gaining more support with the mainstream Dems.

Scarry...

Well I am a full blood republican, but anyone at this point would be better than George W.B. Yah know what? Joan Rivers should run for president.

Not at all. I think Hillary Clinton is a poor representative of the Democratic Party, but, then again, I feel the present day Democratic Party is weakening.

John Kerry was a horrible canidate, so weak, which is why I had him to lose the election in 2004 from the get go - and I'm about as liberal as people get.

Basically, I'd like to see a strong representative come up and run for office, because Hillary Clinton is definitely not it.

And what defense do you have for your argument? Tell me why you don't think she would be a good president, and I'll tell you why she would be.

I believe Hilary is an excellent leader, retains amazing leadership skills, and represents a vast majority of this nation. Along with the fact that she is a female, she also is very qualified for the position of president and i believe that she deserves a chance. So, I give her: 2 thumbs up
