Do you think it's wrong to say your bi even though you are gay?
I have been doing that for a long time even on this website. I'm just afraid because if I come out as gay there is a bigger chance of people avoiding you. When you are bi at least you are half straight. Do you think it's wrong?

Well, it's not wrong. But I would have just come out with it when I joined. Here at VT, we are very accepting people, and we won't avoid you for being gay.

There is nothing wrong with being bi or gay. It is just a label that we put on ourselves.
Don't be ashamed of who you are. It really sucks that you can not come out to everyone in the world because of other people's ignorance and intolerance.

To answer your question no i do not think that it is wrong. You should 'label' ( for lack of a better word) your self in such a way that makes you feel comfortable with who ever you are with. When you feel ready to let people know that you are gay then you can reveal it.
Be proud of who you are

The reason I diddn't say that on here is because I'm so used to saying bi. Thanks for actually responding to this.

I don't think it's as wrong as being in the closet, and nothing's wrong with that. Unless of course you're leading a girl on, and then she gets hurt when she finds out you only like men.
But I agree. Being bi is somewhat more socially acceptable to straight people, because it's halfway inbetween.

I'm actually more uncomfortable around someone who's bi than one who is gay, females especially. I'm not really sure why.

maybe that's because you're a girl :P so you know the other girl would be looking at you sexually
and it's weird because it's halfway inbetween. Idk I just understand that though

You have to accept yourself as you are, and you are gay, so telling people you're bi is wrong in my opinion, and telling people on VT you're bi is useless since only few people have something against gays here. Some people may dislike my opinion, but it's an opinion, so don't attack me for it:).

I would never think less of somebody if they were gay, lesbian,bi, or straight. I think all people should be treated equal. And no, I don't think its wrong. But I think people should be comfertable showing the world their true slef.

I think it's not wrong, I mean, if you feel comfortable by doing that, it's ok. You can't lie to yourself
