here's what I think's happening guys -

1. the girls you are getting blowjobs from may not know how to give a really good blowjob

2. gay guys are probably better at blowjobs than girls (hooray) because they also have a cock, so they know exactly what they would want done and have a better idea of what to do

3. many online articles DO state that it may be hard for any guy to reach orgasm just from a blowjob. Maybe cuz of the amount of stimulation, how much they can handle, how fast (its pretty slow), the sucker's ability, etc
