If you have tried all of the general purpose acne removal products, I'd suggest you see your doctor and he might be able to prescribe you with something that is more suited to you.

If you are truely bothered by it, and nothing off the shelf is working for you, I would see a dermatologist. They can help you out a lot in that area, from skin treatments to prescribed ointment/cream.

Ya, if nothing else is working for you, go see a dermatologist. They can really help. He prescribed me cream and it works great, much better than off the shelf stuff.

tbh I'm in your situation. I have had acne for 3 years now and the benzoyl peroxide cream I used was not working. So I went to the doctors and I'm and currently taking (oxy)tetracycline, an antibiotic which works well on the face pretty much. I have been trialing it for 3 months and if it works then I continue for another 6-12 months to make sure the acne stays away. The drug can sometimes cause stomach upset but I have only had that once. You have to take 2 tablets twice a day (2 pairs) however they must not be taken 1 hour within eating food (lunch at 12 have to wait until 1 to take) and 2 hours within iron and zinc remedies or milk being taken. It's quite annoying the times you have to take them but you soon get used to it. It's been working really well and the fact that I used to have severe acne and as you may be able to see on my avatar my skin is much clearer.

Long story short I would suggest going to your doctor and just saying that you want to talk about your acne as you have had it for X years now and although you have used many creams they aren't working, and they will be happy to help. It's they're job!

Good Luck :D
