well, fiber optic cable is a type of cable that can carry light over 2000 miles, and then the same light comes out of the other side. But it's like the width of about 5 strands of hair, and I have a cable modem, it goes between 3 mbps and 100 mbps, 100 mbps if there is no one in the world trying to get onto the internet

that sounds odd, my network isnt in the task bar but before it was saying 57 mbps which is soundin pretty weird at the moment, its actaully gotten up to 70

yup, i love having cable ^_^

and yeah, fiber optic cables are really fast and dont produce as much heat as regular wires :D

sometimes, i like watching my sound card's fiber optic out/input and try seeing the blinking. its really really fast, but sometimes the blinking is noticable :P
