Okay, before I start, i'm going to set something straight. Yes your probably going to read this, but i'm not not going to post something on here just because you made an account after seeing me on it. Its unfair for me to restrict what I post about, just because i'm afraid of upsetting you if you read it. This was kinda my only vent, and in a way, you took it away from me.
Anyway, now thats cleared up.

Basically, some of you may already know from my other posts and whatnot that i'm depressed, ive self harmed been suicidal, and my lifes a general mess at the moment and so on. Well basicially, my friend has gone away for a while, and I havent felt this happy in a long time, knowing that shes miles away, and cant talk to me. I dont want to shut her out, even if it would just be for a small amount of time, because shes like one of my best friends, but if its going to help me stop self harming and maybe just help me feel better, is it the right thing to do? I'm off for summer break now, so school wouldnt be an issue, it would just mean seeing her very little if at all for 7 weeks. I can see this causing an arguement and tears when she reads this, but I dont know what to do. I'd feel selfish shutting her out for my own sake, but I just dont know...

Sometimes you have to do what is best for yourself, even if that upsets another person.

Yeah, you have to be "selfish" and do stuff for yourself sometimes... tho i think selfish is a rather harse word to use in this case. Meh :/ good luck anyway :)

thanks, your right. Sometimes you have to do something for your own sake even if it hurts others. I'll keep thinking and see what happens when they get back...
