How many have you 360 owners had to get your xbox repaired? for problems ie; red rings, video failure, E74 message.

Two weeks before I warranty expired my xbox had video failure, and i had to send it away and they gave me a new one. Its a pain but i would still have bought a 360.

Last year, I was stupid and had my 360 on my carpet, so it started overheating and then Rock Band screwed it up and that was officially why I Sent it off. It took like three-weeks and i got a stupid one-month free card for LIVE that I don't need because mine is recurring every year, but oh well.

Mine died like two months ago.

And I still haven't fixed.

Because my mom can't find the warranty or something.

I don't care though lol.

I've actually managed to survive without my 360.

If you've had it so long, are you talking bout an Xbox or a 360?

This thread is relating to 360s...

Mine hasn't been sent off.

Almost one year from today i had my first xbox "failure". Just weeks after my warranty expired i started hearing a grinding noise coming from the cd-rom or whatever. It wasnt scratching the disks or anything so i let it go. App. 3 days later i started not being able to start my games. I call it the 'unreadable disk error' but i dont know what its usually called. Sent it in and got about 1 week later.

I think everything is designed to crap out after the warranty expires. But it will occasionally happen before.

Yeah that 1 month card they give you is a joke, atleast let you select a platinum hit for free, or some ms points. I got the replacement in march and they gave me a 1 month card for my "inconvenience" but i don't need to renew until January.

And about crapping out after the warranty goes, my replacement expired in June and now it freezes up occasionally.

Its years and years if you still have the original xbox360 you bought, never had any problems and not a replacement
