Hi everybody. I've been on VT for a while, and now would like a favour if you don't mind.
GTA San Andreas was a game that was mad and had a massive map. Seriously it would take you 20 minutes to get from one corner of the map to the other.
GTA 4 was a more sensible game with a smaller map but it had much better gameplay and graphics.
I think Rockstar should remake GTA San Andreas using the GTA 4 Engine. If you agree, or just want to help me, could you please sign this petition:

Thanks so much in advance, lets hope Rockstar make this brilliant game idea a reality!

I would sign it, but I really don't want to add my e-mail. But I 100% agree with you, GTA:SA was sick and would be even sicker with the engine they used for GTA 4. I highly doubt they would BUT I would be over joyed if they made a new GTA that was similar to GTA:SA but have its own possibly new storyline or what ever.

A graphics overhaul for SA or a complete remake because it sounds like your complaing about the build of the map. I would love to see a newer updated version with a graphic overhaul and the RAGE engine (rag doll physics) in it. Now for Vice City make a new one, and when the next GTA series comes out i think it will be a remake of Vice City like how in 4, Liberty City was rebuilt.

I agree.
I was extremely disapointed when I heard there was no "Outback country" in the game.
But the game is excellent.
Also, i must note that just to save a file on Playstation 3 of GTA 4 is 3500MB. (3.5GB)
That map is small, so San Andreas would be somewhere in the realm of 10,000MB as a save file.
Or, simply, It would be a huge file. So large, in fact that the game would only be able to be saved to a Blu-Ray disc. (Blu-Ray [PS3]'s use 405 nm Blue-Violet laser, allowing it to store ~15GB of memory; Whilst normal CD's [Xbox 360] use a 650 nm Red laser, allowing ~6GB or memory).
It would be a tight squeeze.

Actually in GTA 4 the RAGE engine used Euphoria which isn't exactly rag doll physics.
But I want them to do with how they did GTA 3 to GTA 4. They did GTA 3 then Vice city, then San Andreas. I want to see that after GTA 4.

Ya, A san Andreas and Vice City remake are certain. Unless Rockstar decides to be stupid and give up the chance to make millions of dollars.

If you agree with me PLEASE sign cause it may be the only thing that convinces Rockstar it will be worth it. Every little helps!

I signed but I can't really see them doing it. SA didn't come out that long ago when you think about it.
