can the puberty101 forums be made members only? i know they are there for members and guests to get advice. but there are paedofiles out in the world and my nehborhood reading some of the things in these forums as guests visualizing what some of the member post to get off, getting user info from signatures such as im screen names to request picture and sex. its very disgusting. just a random thought to take into consideraton.

No.
Otherwise no one would find it. Our link has been removed from puberty101.com and search engines are the only place that we get our p101ers now. If we made it members only, the search engines wouldn't be able to see therefore we'd get no more members.
I know having it so open with such content isn't ideal, but it's the only way so you either have to live with it or simply stop posting there.

The p101 threads interest a great many members on vt, so if it was not possible to read the threads before joining its likely that this would mean a lot fewer members joining.
You can help control how easy or difficult it is for people to identify you by your choice of username and by how much information you choose to give in your profile page. Its also your choice as to whether to use your own photo as an avatar and whether to post photos in your profile. Personally I never post photos of myself anywhere on vt as I do not want people from "the real world" to identify me.
You have also chosen to make public your AIM and MSN details which increases the likelihood that you will get unwelcome contacts. Again personally I dont include my msn details in my vt profile and only give these out to people that I've got to know a bit and feel I can trust.

I completely agree with Nick on this one.

No.
The way we deal with the pedos is make sure our rules are enforced.
p101 honestly brings in 80 percent of the members to our site. And look where they have ended up. Admins and gmods and mods and counselors or whatever.
But thats not the point, we cant make p101 hidden because the people that need the help wont join the site to get it, and cant see it

P101 brought me to the site, so i don't really agree with this, p101 attracts allot of members, so it should stay as it is.
