Fate wouldn't let me take the advantage,
So I stood on the ledge, broken-hearted, empty-handed,
But I wouldn't abandon the hope
That was banding
Together inside of
All that was left of
The nobody that I am.
And so I fucked with the sky,
Set the atmosphere awry,
Let the sun turn blue
And made the ocean high tide.
And why could I, the non-deity lie,
The corporate decision made
Solely for visionaries, oh the future seekers
Like ocean dwellers living slow
And unfortunately,
Turn the world upside down
And take away what's deserved...
Oh I fucked with the sky,
Set the atmosphere awry,
Let the sun turn blue,
And made the ocean high tide...
Engulfed in the misery
That is the wave of questioning,
A seafoam green, overcoming,
It knocks me down and makes me think,
What is been and what has be,
I am you and you are me!
A devout killer, a devoted hand,
A mercenary thriller, a bandit in the sand,
Waiting for the moment, the moment to strike,
The moment where the point of, this less than merry life,
Turns into the moment where we discover strife,
The particle of energy that lives inside our minds.
And I'm still fucking with the sky,
Setting the atmosphere awry,
Turning the sun blue (and sometimes neon green)
And making the ocean high tide (the ocean high tide)...
With waves of misery and fucked up visionaries,
I'm a dignitary, a member of the penury,
A lost cause peasant, near death and fluorescent,
A shining star ready to go
Out with a bang and show the whole world,
That nobody knows
What will never
Be known.
