Sitting on the floor of the bathroom.
Water falls from my eyes.
I’m tired. Tired of this pain.
Down goes my finger into my throat.
I gag. I dispose of the food inside.
I stand up and look into the mirror.
I see my pale, worried face staring back at me.
I wash my hands and act like it never happened.
Walking back into the room of people was hard.
Do you think they could tell?
My throat aches. I sit down and smile at my friend.
She smiles back. She can’t see whom I really am inside.
I’m a different person to them.
I wonder if they would really understand.
