Friend given up?

Hey, about 40 minutes ago I got a text from a friend saying "Bye everyone xx Miss you xx" I sent her two texts in reply because I know she's not going anywhere to be saying bye to us, I also know she feels really down at times and she SI. She never replied. So I sent her mum a text asking if anything was up. I still didn't get a reply, I'm worried for her. And if anything happens I know I'll blame myself. What can I do to make sure she's okay?

Okay, she's came online now. She tried to take an overdose but says to me she's okay. She's moving and is eating. But I'm still worried about her. I don't think she wants help, so how can I? Please I need help with this. She means a lot to me and she is saying that her ex (who she loves a lot) is trying to kill himself and if he does die then she'll go with him. How can you help someone who wants to end it all? I don't know what I'll do without her... Please... I know that she will do this just to prove a point to her ex if anything else....

This is hard. The only thing that you can do is talk to her, make her realize that suicide is not the solution. This is only a hard moment in her live.

Yeah. I think I've gotten through to her. After some shouting and crying on my half. I'm going to help her get to a counsellor, and I'm going to go in with her by her request. I just really hopes she accepts the help they give her. The bad thing now is I feel like I'm going to relapse....

If she does that again make sure you contact her parents!!! ASAP!

I contacted her mum tonight. But never got a reply. I managed to convince her to let me get her help. I'll be there too, helping her as much as I can.

Make sure to keep tabs on this ex, that he doesn't say anything to her or do anything to influence her and make her want to kill herself, good luck, you truly are a gem!

Thanks xD and yeah I'll try to keep an eye on him. If need be I'll try and get him help too. But I don't know. I hate him for how he's treated her and how she's willing to die if he does. But I'll do everything in my power to get her the help she needs. I love her too much to watch her throw it all away.
