We don't have a shower at home so its not something I do very often, but sometimes on holiday in the shower is the best option. I think it kind of depends on the person, I generally dont have as strong of an orgasm when I jack off in the shower, but the easy clean up is a perk. The water itself though works great! I get erect faster in the shower and cold water is a great stimulator, but I see that with y'all it has the opposite effect.

For your sake though, since your nerves shut down at the slightest contact of water, you should try and tweak the temperature to various degrees and see if you get a more desirable response. Or try and lower the water pressure. Tweaking the flow of water into the form of a jet would only make it worse since your nerves or sensitive to the flow of water.

One, you've gotta be in that mood when you shower. Don't try to force yourself to jack off, if that's what you're doing. Two, I do find that it takes longer to get off in the shower. As for why, I have no idea, but even when I'm hurrying, it seems to take 5-10 minutes.
