I want to dye my hair sometime in the future...

Not anytime soon, but I definitely want to change it one day.

So, if I were to dye my hair, how should I get it? Like what would look best on me?

I have some ideas - such as brunette, or maybe put in a few bright colors (I have put bright colors in before and it looked pretty cool, so none of this, "You wouldn't look right with bright colors yadayadayada."

I'll put in a few suggestions in a poll.

As a general saying, for a natural look, you should never go more than 2 shades darker or lighter than your normal colour.

This doesn't really apply when you are adding in neon colours etc.

Also I consider hair to be just part of your outfit, so make sure the colour matches with the clothes you like to wear :)

I have had a whiter blonde before but it washed out eventually and went less white. :(

as far as too shades lighter or darker goes it's not that big a deal as long as you get it done right. I'm naturally a dark brunette but I recently went blonde and the lady did an excellent job on mine..

For you I would go with a lighter brown and some natural red highlights

I really think you could pull of a neon yellow or green, but kinda faded or strips of it. Your hair is already so yellow white blonde, it just hints at it.

I like the sound of neon green actually (not all of my hair though :P).
I might buy wash in-wash out hair dye or hair extensions just to see what it would be like. I have blue and pink hair extensions as well but they get all tangled up with my real hair and it's rather irritating, so I don't wear them as much. I should do really because they're cool. :P

I think a drastic hair color change is not that good. I know when i dyed my hair blonde from dark brown it was a really drastic change and I got a lot of people giving me crap for it.
