Speaking as a Canadian who's bought them in the past, NO you did not get ripped off. ... at least not in the sense of paying more than what's reasonable, given that it's a convieniance store and you only bought three. If you buy a pack of three in a gas station, it can be more than that!

Whenever you buy smaller packs of anything, you're paying more per thing. Buy a six pack of coke and it's going to be more per can than if you bought a case. It's just the way it works. Next time, goto the grocery store or department store (walmart) and buy a larger box (18-30) and it'll be less than a dollar per condom.
