Corruption? Who cares? The masses mutter
As the Man commits atrocities utter
Not concerned about all the lies and mistakes
The people bleat 'At least the economy's in good shape!'

As long as their credit laden middle class illusion
Is safe from the uncontrolled interest rate contusions
They'll vote for the Man - his sweet lies of progress
Even if he were to eat a baby in Congress!

Don't get me wrong, I think people are fun-
But what we are witnessing is ethics undone
The choice to ignore the things that are awful
Is destroying what is principled, wise and lawful.
