Well, many boys shave and trim their pubic hairs...I doubt he will think you are weird. Shaving them for the first time, however, is mighty itchy and probably one of the most uncomfortable experiences of your life.

There is no doctor that will make fun of you. Doctors are supposed to be professional!

There are three options you have:
1. Not shave your pubes, and wait until after the doctor appointment (duh)
2. Shave your pubes, and then once he sees, tell him that you shave and that you're a lot more developed than what he sees (you could sorta make a joke out of it)
3. Shave your pubes and not care what he thinks

Word. ^^

Hes not going to get other doctors in there to laugh at you for a while. What kind of a doctor would do that?

Doctors are trained to ignore trivial things like this, I wouldn't worry about it. He won't mention it, and probably won't notice it. He's a professional and will act professional.

He's a doctor. To honestly think that he hasn't seen it all, is a bit of an understatement. You shouldn't really care what he thinks about it, and if he makes fun of you for it, then get another doctor who isn't a jackass. The three options that Zach suggested should be your main options. I personally would wait until AFTER your appointment to shave.

Doctors are supposed to be serious and just get on with what they're doing. I'm pretty sure you're not the first kid he's seen with shaved pubes. It's your decision and he shouldn't say anything about it unless he asks you. But other than that he should not draw attention unless it has to do with whatever he's doing. (He might ask to know if you're developing the way most do)

The doctor will not care. He is a trained perfessional, and they are taught to not take note of such things during the check up. He/she will continue on with thte appointment as normal, and doctor/paitent confidentiality will prevail.

A doctor could frankly care less as to whether or not you shave your pubs. All it means for him is that he'll have to ask you if you do have pubic hair to see where you are development wise. So go ahead if you want, it makes no difference to him, he's making a $100,000+ a year :P
