Well to my way of thinking there are 2 different levels of masturbating with a friend. Level 1 is where you both wank in the same room as each other, I cant see anything in the slightest bit gay about that, and level 2 would be "helping each other out", which is a bit more gay. However lots of straight guys get to level 2 and it doesnt make you gay. Really the bottom line is whether its just a different way of getting a wank, or if you're doing it because you have feelings for each other.

Im not sure. What would happen if you dont? Its norml to feel this way, however.

Not all boys do this together, maybe about 60% have probably done this before.

it's normal to feel worried about this. it's a big deal. Your friends may or may not call you gay. If you have no idea what will happen, don't do it! It's not worth the risk. they may stop being your friends. Or worse, they could tell the whole school. That outweighs the chance of a mutual masturbation, in my opinion.

Actually, that's not true - not everyone masturbtes with their friend(s). Many people don't. But since this is a puberty site, it's talked about so much and many people who have done this are drawn to this site by what they've searched on Google to get on this site.

I think it's good that you're cautious. It's not always a good idea to "experiment", because that person could easily leak what happened and tell somebody else.

It is TOTALLY normal to feel that way! I am pretty sure that most/all guys who have masterbated with friends have felt the same. The reason for the guilt is because society tells us that any sexual act whatsoever between two male is "gay", when in reallity it is more of a bonding point, entertainment, release of sexual tension, etc. People may think that you are "gay", but no one is really able to tell their true sexuality during there years of puberty. There are so many hormones rushing throughout your body that you can not truely tell your sexual orrientation until you have finished puberty.

Either way, you shouldnt let others thoughts/words get to you. Be proud of who you are and no one can take that away from you! So what if you are "gay"? We are all just looking for love, and if you happen to find it with another male, what should it matter to others?
