Black Eye

Ok, I managed to earn myself a black eye tonight, and it's starting to swell pretty bad.

Is there anything I can do about it other than put some ice on it? It REALLY hurts to touch the area with a bag of ice, or with anything for that matter, so i'd prefer to not hold something there all night.

Things include cold and heat (ice and a heat pad (not too hot)) and anti-inflammatory pills like ibuprofen can help.

Ok, thanks, I think i'll stick to the Advil, i really don't want to touch it with anything, hurts worse than when i got my concussion

The only thing is Ice. Dont do heat. Ice is for swelling, heat is for muscular pain. HEat won't do any harm, and it will help, but the better option is ice. Try some ibuprofen as well to help the swelling and pain. OTher then that there is nothing to do.
